Hello fellow developers,
I finally managed to work around all the issues with the new viPlugin status bar. At least all that I found :-)
Because I'm not so sure that there are no lurking bugs anymore I invite you to try out the beta version 1.16.0 by pointing your update manager to satokar.com. The beta period will be one week, so 1.16.0 final will be released on the 20th (probably with some additional bugfixing here and there).
Until then I hope some of you will join me in testing this beast :-)
Happy coding,
Michael

Status bar
Good work on the new status bar. I have a feeling I'm going to love it.
I did have one problem, though, that will make me go back to 1.15.x until it is fixed. See issue http://www.satokar.com/mantis/view.php?id=569.
Thanks for your hard work and a great eclipse plugin!
Saw it already
Hi,
I saw the bug entry already. I had this while developing, but fixed it then. Don't know how it can happen for you again. I will have to try out the platform you are using!
Best regards,

This is good news
Now I remember that I wanted to check if the fallback works. The statusbar addition in 1.16.0 only works with Eclipse >= 3.3! I use the old statusbar as a fallback, but it seems loading of the new statusbar should be prevented earlier.
Thanks for the feedback!
